Shannon Halloween Open Feis 2021

Seven McGovern Irish Dance members travelled to Port Huron MI for the Shannon Irish Dance Academy's Halloween Open Feis! It was an amazing event held at the McMorran Place Sports & Entertainment Center.
Our dancers brought home a total of 32 awards including 10 FIRST places, and memories of fun adventures and time spent with friends new and old doing something they enjoy!

Champion of Champions
The top three dancers of each Championship were automatically entered into the Champion of Champions Special at the end of the day! Dancers performed one step (right and left foot) of a light shoe (Reel or Slip Jig) and one step of a heavy shoe (Heavy Jig or Hornpipe) down the line. Both scores were combined to declare the overall Champion of Champions.
