No MID or Jump’n Jig Classes

No classes
Oct. 3 - No classes, they will be held at the Dayton studio in conjunction with skirt swap day. See the info and schedule below. There will be no Jump’n Jig class on that day.
Oct. 10 - No Classes
Saturday Oct 7 -
No MID or Jump’n JIg Classes, instructors will be at CRN Regionals in Sandusky OH
SKIRT SWAP/COSTUME INSPECTION DAY
Dayton & Troy Studio - Oct. 3
Dancers from the Dayton OH and Troy OH studios should plan to come to the Dayton studio with their embroidered skirts (both green and black) as well as ANY dresses that they may have in their possession. If you can have them cleaned as well that would be great.
Dancers that are in need of their black and green skirts that are embroidered should come to this.
If you are in Troy and in the Beginner class, you do not need an embroidered skirt, your plain black skirt is worked into your pricing, but if you prefer to have one, we can work that out. If that’s the case, you should come to this as well.
Any dancer that has a black or green skirt in their possession or dress should plan to attend, whether you think your skirt fits you or not.
The schedule will be as follows:
5:00 - 5:45
Beginners Ages 5 - 8 & Beginners Ages 9 - 17
(Troy dancers - if you normally come at 6:00 you should come to this class)
5:45 - 6:30
Beginner Hard Shoe All Ages and Bun Grad
(Troy dancers - if you normally come at 6:45, you come to this class)
6:30 - 8:30 Skirt Swap
Hopefully this won’t take until 8:30 but just in case we will have the time allotted. If for some reason you can’t make it, you will need to make arrangements to drop off your costume sometime BEFORE Oct. 3.
We will handle vest orders for the boys at a different date.
Indiana Studio - We will handle your costume during Term 2 (Dec - Feb)

COMPETITIONS
CRN West Region Regional Championships
October 7 - 8 @ Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky OH
MID members that know at least their Bun Grad Reel and Slip Jig are eligible to participate in this event. There are some traditional set dance events and pre-beginner competitions. If you are interested in those, please let me know.

WORKSHOPS, DANCE CAMPS & SPECIAL CLASSES
Nov 2, 3 and 5 - Level Up Workshop
If you leveled up or out of any of your dances at CRN Regionals you will need to sign up for this workshop to begin the work on your new steps. This would also be ideal if you have steps that are still new to you or you a little extra practice with. I will have a schedule put together after regionals. Workshop will be $45 per dancer.
